The best day ever

I tried to post these pictures a long time ago but it never happened so here they are now. As all of you know Brig and Logan are obsessed with street sweepers they love them so you can imagine how happy they were when last November a man started parking the street sweeper he operated by our house . We just had to go check it out they were so excited. It really was a dream come true for them. unfortunately it is no longer parked there but we will always remember it as Brig and Logan's BEST DAY EVER !!

KATIE'S WALKING !!

OK! well she took her first step the day after Christmas. I was sitting down talking on the phone and Katie was next to me buy the Ottoman she terned turds me and took two good steps. I really don't even think she knew she did it it didn't seen to face her and i was pretty confused buy her lack of reaction. After that day she started to stand and take small steps on her own and about 3 weeks ago she stopped crawling all together. she is now impossible to take to church with out sitting in the halls the majority of the time and really who new perfect little Katie Jane could be such a handful.

Chrismas

My favorite part about the kids dressing up for the nativity was that Logan was saying that he was dressed up as a kitty. I guess i just didn't see it. HA HA HA your so funny Logan.

The Hawkins Nativity

I love that we have the tradition of setting cookies out for Santa the trick is to not get caught eating them or throwing them away! that wouldn't be good.

Christmas this year was supper fun I think the older my kids get the more fun Christmas is. Not only are they starting to understand that we are celebrating Jesus' birth but the questions the come up with about Santa are hilarious. Brig stood in front of his hole class and told them not to ask Santa for any more presents Because Santa ran out of paint. Yah i bet that went over well with the rest of the kids he also told his teacher Mrs. Buckannan that there are some things that Santa cant build like Home Depot trucks. hummmm Seems logical.
