Halloween

Halloween was so much fun. My sister-in-law has always thrown the most crazy Halloween party and this year was no exception. My father-in-law hired my sister Kendra to take our pictures and she did amazing. I love her style. I had so much fun making Katie's costume this year. she was wounder woman and i think it fit her personality perfect. Kris was a halo guy. yeah I know figures right. Brig was Iron man and Logan was a Kitty Batman. Would you have expected anything different from him?

I'll fill you in

So I thought that I had better get caught up on the past 3 months before I post my Halloween pics. and before the rest of the Holiday come so here we go.

I turned 28 Wow and the next day i notest my wrinkles on my forehead didn't go away when Irelaxed my face. Does that happen to everyone? please tell me it does. I thought great i got wrinkles on my forehead for my birthday. Kris's parents took all of there daughter and daughter-in-laws on a girls trip to St. Gorge to a place called Tai Pan to shop. It was the perfect Hawkins girls trip.It was so much fun and I have to say 3 days strait with my in-laws brought us close I in joyed every minute. Kris and I Had a much needed weekend away at the desert ridge resort. It was so much fun we sat buy the lazy river and I just laughed at all the moms with there kids as they chased them around the pool trying to get them to eat something or put sunscreen on or stop hitting there sister. It's much more funny to see from the out side looking in.

Katie got big or I guess I should say older. She still is only in the 7 percentile for her weight But she is a smart and funny little girl. She is our little mimic she will say anything you tell her to say or at least try her best and then she will clap when she thinks she has succeeded in doing so. She is my little mess maker. I really thought When i got my little girl that she would love to be clean ,love me to do her hair and sit nicely and color not tare the house apart but that is not Katie at all shes our little fire cracker or something like it. she definitely makes us laugh and she eats it up. She also loves to be in charge of her brothers Brig doesn't really let her but she she still tries and she definitely has Logan wrapped around he little finger. Sometimes Logan will be laying down to watch TV and she will just go and sit on him and if he tries to get up she will just push him back down and say no Logan. and he listens to her it is the funniest thing.

Brig and Logan had there first day of school. Logan is still not sure about the whole school thing But Brig loves it I am surprised that he still comes home from school and tells me how excited he is to go back tomorrow. Wow I never thought that would happen . He comes home and tells me the funniest things. He really thinks His teacher is all knowing I love it . Logan on the other hand can not understand why he cant just go to school and play on the playground the hole day it just doesn't make much since to him.

Brave Logans stitches

Last Wednesday I had to rush Logan to the urgent care to get 5 stitches. He had fallen off the our swing in the back yard and on the way down grabbed on to a metal link that hadn't been welded together and had pulled apart. He came in screaming and i knew it was a I'm seriously hurt cry. It took me a wile to get it to stop bleeding long enough to put some bandages on . It was pretty sick to say the least and i do not do well with things like that. Logan on the other hand after the bleeding had stopped was so brave. He didn't even cry while he was was getting his stitches. The doctors were so surprised. what a poor brave little boy

SUMMER 09 SO SAD IT'S ALMOST OVER

Wow this summer has flown by to fast . Here are just a couple of picture of things we did.

I have to say that this is my favorite part of summer the 4th of July. Little beats relaxing with my family, watching the fireworks and being thankful for the wonders what God has given me. I love it. there is nothing more peaceful and great.

We did a ton of Baking. I love baking with my kids Brig and Logan are finally old enough to make baking with them a lot of fun!

Played some imaginary games and definitely built our
fair share of tents.

We even caught our fair share of bugs or as Logan would like to say his pets !

Vegas trip

Kim and I decided to take a girls trip to Vegas for a hair show and other then the shocking nakedness covering the streets it was so much fun. We did a ton of shopping , ate at The Mesa Grill ( I'm a big Bobby Flay fan) and learned so much at the Hair show. but i have to say that the best part was finding out that we didn't have to stay in the hotel room we were first booked in. I was so happy we were literally jumping up and down on the beds. I'm not a snot or anything but the first place had like a half inch of dust on the tables and who knows what on the carpets lets just say that i would have been sleeping on top of the covers with my shoes on!

Brigs trophy

This was Brig's first year of T-ball and I have to say it was very entertaining to watch. He is a very competitive boy but I'm not so sure it came through in his T-ball games. One of the games he was center field and a kid had hit the ball so hard that it flew right over his head so his coach looked at Brig and said Brig run go get it and brig turned to start running towards the ball and then turned back towards his coach and said "it's too far" his coach just looked at him and laughed. Brig was supper tough though he got hit with the ball 4 times while being the pitcher this season and didn't even cry they started calling him "nails". like tough as nails. but his favorite part of the whole season was getting his trophy. His coach awarded him with the most improved player and Brig was so proud he carried around his trophy for the next few days like it was a spoon full of water that he couldn't spill not allowing anyone even his dad to touch the gold part of it. We all had so much fun. Good job Brig.

Logan

It's been 4 weeks since Logan had his adenoids taken out and tubes put in his ears and he's doing great. Apparently he had fluid in his ears for about a little over a year. we knew there was something wrong but we weren't sure what and as he got older it was pretty apparent that it was his hearing so we took him to get tested and they said that they couldn't finish the evaluation because there was to much fluid in his ears and so we took him to his pediatric doctor and he said that yes he had not had a positive ear inspection for a year and a half. poor kid i don't know why i wasn't given this information before but i was happy to have a solution now and i think he is to. He immediately notice new sounds when he came home and his speech has changed dramatically too . He also sleeps better now no more sleep apnea or snoring my cute little loud breathing child doesn't breath so loudly any more . he is such a happy cute boy.

CRAZY MONTH

Logan insisted on having a batman and a pink doggy cake

Logan really wanted a pink hello kitty birthday party but he also really likes batman because he kinda looks like a kitty and so we had a batman party with a little bit of pink and rented a supper big water slide bouncer he picked this one because it had dolphins on the top. He's so funny!! He had so much fun.

every other Easter the weather has been beautifully enough for Kris's dad to rent a big water slide bouncer but since it was raining he took all the grand kids to bounce U the had so much fun and it was a perfect chance for the moms to stay behind and hid Easter eggs for the Easter egg hunt at nanny's

So much has happened this month i for sure wont be able to everything but I will try and get the key things that are most important to me. first of all Nanny through the cutest tinsy Easter tea party for the little grand kids and then followed it with a crazy spectacular one 2 days latter. on my side of the family we attempted to have a Easter picnic in the park witch totally got rained out and had to be cut a little short but non the less was fun to see family. My little sister took some fabulous family Easter pictures at the temple and i have to add that i think she is really in her element at the temple grounds she did such an amazing job i love them. Logan had his big batman with a little pink Birthday party a week early because on the 20th he had his adenoids taken out and some much much much kneaded ear tubs put in. So that's the fun in my tinny family or some of it anyway.
